Bill is the Chief Financial Officer at Ritholtz Wealth Management and manages the firm's financial operations. He specializes in minimizing the impact of income taxes on investment returns.
Prior to joining Ritholtz Wealth, Bill was the President of Stevens & Sweet of Tuxedo Park, New York, focusing on accounting and tax for individuals and small businesses. He led the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce from 2008-2015 and was the Treasurer of the Tuxedo Park Library from 2012-2017.
Bill served as an Armor and Cavalry officer in the United States Army beginning in 2002. He left active duty in 2008 with the rank of Captain following two successful company commands at Fort Knox. He is a graduate of the Army Airborne School and Scout Platoon Leader Course. Bill received the Bronze Star for valorous action in combat as a tank platoon leader during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Bill holds a degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). His wife, Jayme, is a high school English teacher. They raise a son and a daughter in sunny Warwick, New York.
