William Sweet

I am the Chief Financial Officer at Ritholtz Wealth Management and I manage our financial operations. I specialize in tax-efficient investing.

Prior to joining Ritholtz Wealth, I was the President of Stevens & Sweet of Tuxedo Park, New York, focusing on accounting and tax for individuals and small businesses. I led the Tuxedo Chamber of Commerce from 2008-2015 and was the Treasurer of the Tuxedo Park Library from 2012-2017. 

From 2002-2008, I served on active duty as an Armor officer in the United States Army. I ended service as a Captain following two company commands at Fort Knox. I am a graduate of the US Army Airborne School and Scout Platoon Leader Course. I was awarded a Combat Action Badge and Bronze Star as a tank platoon leader during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. 

I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) focusing on signal processing design and Computer and Systems Engineering. I live in Warwick with my wife, son, and daughter.
